We wanted to take this opportunity to thank Creative Castles (Surrey & Lance) for the wonderful bedroom/bath addition you did in our attic. It is hard to believe that such a beautiful space was once just studs and floorboards. My family now fights over who will stay in the “nest” during visits. We purchased this home as a resale, and were told it was built by Creative Castles, a premier builder in Bentwater. The quality of the house spoke for itself. When it was time to do our addition, there was no question as to with whom we wanted to work. We knew that quality of the addition would be excellent. We were however, very surprised and excited by the final design. It ended up offering so much more than we had expected to gain with the limited attic
space. Remodeling is never easy, especially when one must live amid the mess. Having done renovations in the past, we were dreading the process. We were extremely pleased with the constant attention given to the neatness of the construction area as well as the consideration of our time and privacy. This became especially important as we encountered unexpected personal issues. We cannot thank Surrey and Lance enough for their help and support during a
very difficult time. They stepped in not only as contractors but also as friends. We could not be happier with our new space. We love to show it off to friends who are
considering changes in their own homes and then we highly recommend Creative Castles!

We hired Creative Castles, Inc. for a master bathroom remodel. We chose them after meeting with a number of other contractors. We worked with Lance Ewing and were extremely pleased with his
professionalism and consideration for our property, as well as his design choices. Before any work was started, Lance put up plastic barriers to protect the rooms they were working in, and each crew cleaned
up every day when they were finished working. Lance stayed on top of the project, was hands on, and maintained communication. The project was done on schedule and on budget. The bathroom turned out better than we could have ever imagined and the quality of workmanship was superb. While we have heard many horror stories about working with contractors, we have nothing but praise for Lance Ewing and Creative Castles.

Creative Castles was the perfect builder for us, and we are thrilled with our new home! It was especially challenging since we were fourteen hours away and had never previously built a home.
Before we even signed a contract, Surrey Ewing spent countless hours meeting with us, gave us our "homework", and directed us to knowledgeable vendors who made the selection and coordination process much easier. There were specific times arranged in advance when we were required to be "on site" to make crucial decisions. Throughout the process, we appreciated Surrey's expertise regarding our preferences and guidance about new home construction. He and wife, Susan, sent regular emails and pictures to keep us updated when we weren't present. His attention to detail and continual "hands on" approach resulted in an exceptionally well built, beautiful home.
We admit we approached building a home long distance with anxiety and trepidation but are happy to report the Ewings made it a pleasant and positive experience. In addition, our home was completed ON budget and ON time. We highly recommend Creative Castles as builder of choice.

Many have said building a home was traumatic and very difficult. If we would build again, we would give the plans to Surrey, ask how much we would owe him and when could he start. Asking for other bids would be a waste of time. Why look elsewhere when perfection is before you.

From the moment we began construction, Surrey Ewing was on top of things every step of the way. He worked hard to keep us in budget, without sacrificing quality. We marvel at our low utility bills, and beautiful views from every window. He was very particular to small details and it shows. We thought we were building a house with Surrey, but instead he created our castle!

We love our home built by Creative Castles. We had no experience in building custom homes, but Surrey Ewing (builder/owner) helped us through all stages of the process. He spent countless hours with us walking our acreage to help us decide on the best placement for our home and barn. He worked with us and our architect to design the floor plan and elevations to maximize the floor space and take advantage of the best views on our property. The building process was handled professionally and fairly. He used experienced contractors that had a long professional relationship with him. He encouraged our involvement in all stages and was more than fair in handling any changes. After construction, he has been very prompt in handling the minor final fixes/adjustments. We found him to be one of the most honest businessmen we have ever dealt with and highly recommend Creative Castles to others.
